Product Description

Equipment Name: Auto Computer Controlled Electronic Universal Testing Machine
Model: ETM-100
Equipment Image:100kN 200kN Auto Computer Controlled Electronic Tensile Compression Bending Testing Machine

Introduction:
The ETM-100 is a new generation microcomputer-controlled electronic universal testing machine. It is primarily used for testing mechanical properties such as tension, compression, flexure, shear, peel, and tear on a variety of metals, non-metals, and composite materials. The system utilizes microcomputer closed-loop control, boasting a wide and accurate loading speed and force range, and provides high precision and sensitivity in load and displacement measurement and control. This equipment is suitable for use in the metal, adhesive, pipe, profile, aerospace, petrochemical, waterproofing membrane, wire and cable, textile, fiber, rubber, ceramic, food, pharmaceutical packaging, geotextile, film, wood, and paper manufacturing industries, as well as in product quality control departments at all levels. It is also suitable for teaching demonstrations in universities and colleges.
The main unit of the testing machine is designed for aesthetics, ease of operation, stable and reliable performance, and is pollution-free, low-noise, and highly efficient. The auxiliary fixtures are designed to match the main unit, featuring a wedge-shaped, translational structure and manual rotary clamping, ensuring that specimens are not subject to additional forces. The clamping is convenient, reliable, and slip-resistant. This testing machine utilizes a digital AC servo speed control system and motor with high speed regulation accuracy and stable performance. A specially designed synchronous toothed belt reduction system and ball screw assembly drive the testing machine's moving crosshead. The Windows-based database-based control and data processing software utilizes virtual instrumentation, replacing traditional digital tubes and oscilloscopes, enabling on-screen display of test force, peak force, crosshead displacement, specimen deformation, and test curves. All test operations can be completed on the computer screen using mouse input, providing a user-friendly human-machine interface. A dual-channel, fully digital programmable amplifier, integrated within the PC, enables true physical zeroing, gain adjustment, and automatic shifting, zeroing, and calibration of test force measurement without any analog adjustment steps. The highly integrated control circuitry eliminates mechanical adjustment devices such as potentiometers, resulting in a simple structure and reliable performance. The combined application of these technologies ensures closed-loop control of test force, specimen deformation, and crosshead displacement, enabling tests involving constant force, constant displacement, constant strain, constant velocity load cycles, and constant velocity deformation cycles. The PC-based expert system allows users to independently set control modes such as constant stress, constant strain, and constant displacement, with smooth switching between them. The programmable mode meets the requirements of national standards GB/T228-2010, "Metallic Materials - Room Temperature Tension Test Method," and GB/T7314-1987, "Metal Compression Test Method," enabling data processing in accordance with various standards, including GB, ISO, JIS, ASTM, and DIN. The system offers excellent scalability, with processed results stored on disk in ASCII format. This facilitates post-processing, such as test data reanalysis, database management, and network transmission.

Because the testing machine implements automated test process control and computerized test results processing, operators can easily and independently set test program steps. During tensile testing, the operator can clearly observe the entire test process for materials such as mild steel and cast iron. By repeatedly loading at different curve segments, the force-displacement (deformation) curve can be used to visually verify Hooke's law and observe cold work hardening. For materials without obvious physical yield, the hysteresis loop method or successive approximation method can be used to determine the specified non-proportional elongation strength. During the compression process, it is convenient to observe the compression yield and strengthening phenomena of mild steel, and the compression failure process and fracture shape of cast iron. It can also test the n and r values of mechanical materials.
Structure and Principle:
The main unit consists of an upper crossbeam, a moving crossbeam, and a workbench connected by columns and ball screws to form a rigid floor-standing frame structure. An AC servo motor and AC servo speed control system are installed below the workbench. The AC servo motor drives the dual ball screws through a synchronous toothed belt reduction mechanism, which in turn drives the moving crossbeam up and down to load the specimen. (Compression and bending fixtures are installed between the moving crossbeam and the workbench to perform compression and bending tests on metal or non-metallic specimens; a tensile fixture is installed between the moving crossbeam and the upper crossbeam to perform tensile tests on metal or non-metallic specimens.) The load cell, mounted below the moving crossbar, measures the test force. The AC servo motor has a built-in displacement measurement system that measures specimen displacement, which can also be used to approximate specimen deformation. For some metal materials, the testing machine is equipped with a dedicated extensometer, a device for measuring specimen elongation. The extensometer's dual grips clamp the specimen at two points along the gauge length, measuring the separation distance between the two points in real time, representing the specimen deformation. A microcomputer (PC or LCD microcontroller) controls the test process and provides data processing and output.
